From the world of drag racing, a miraculous story– 75-year-old legend John Force had the engine of his funny car explode at about 300 miles an hour, as he crossed the finish line at a strip in Virginia Sunday. Remarkably, Force was conscious, alert and talking to the paramedics as they pulled him from the wreckage. Officials say everyone in the sport’s keeping Force in their thoughts and prayers.
