Floyd Asche, 84, Delaware

Floyd G. Asche, 84, of Delaware passed away at 6am, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his home. He was born near Delaware on March 11, 1936 the son of Charles and Esther Raney Asche. He was married to Christina Rose on September 12, 1957 and she preceded him in death on April 12, 2015. Survivors include one son Gayle (Jennifer) Asche of Benham; two daughters Carol (Mark) Owens of Osgood and Barbara (Dana) Hotko of Delaware; eight grandchildren Trevor (Jenny) Asche of Dillsboro, Tyler (Ashley) Asche of Rexville, Adam (Alisha) Eadens and Dylan (Amber) Eadens both of Delaware, Elijah (Kelly) Eadens of Dillsboro, Johnny Owens of Greensburg, Josh (Jessica) Owens of Hamilton, Ohio, and Jeremy (Jessica) Owens of Osgood; 17 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Gerald, Hershel, Clarence, Carl, Leroy, Robert, and Gene Asche, and his sisters Goldie Richter, Clara Felix, and Sylvia Spurr. Mr. Asche was a former employee of INDOT where he worked as an inspector and retired after 40 years with IBEW Local 1393. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Bill Roberts of the Delaware United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the cemetery in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
