Laurel, IN — On Tuesday evening Laurel Volunteer Fire Department and Franklin County EMS were dispatched to a residence on Stipps Hill Road for a fully engulfed structure fire. Additional crews were called in to help battle the fire but firefighters were instructed to not enter the structure due to dangerous conditions.
Mutual aid was provided at the scene by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Metamora Volunteer Fire Department, and the Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Department. The Indiana State Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
