(Brookville, IN) – The Franklin County School Board will hold a public hearing at 6:30 tonight in the administration building on 10th Street in Brookville to consider a proposed contract for a new superintendent.
Current superintendent Tammy Chavis announced her retirement earlier this year.
The school board will discuss and take public comment on the proposed contract during the hearing.
The three-year contract worth $131,575 runs from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027.
It will be on the agenda at a special board meeting at 7 p.m. on June 18.
