Excursion train to make another stopover in Greensburg Saturday

GREENSBURG, IN — The Ohio Rail Experience is returning to Greensburg this weekend.

The excursion train will depart Cincinnati and make its way to the Tree City’s downtown area for a Saturday stopover.

“We had them in the spring, and we had about 250 people influx downtown,” said Mayor Joshua Marsh.

The second stopover will take place Saturday from 11 am until 3 pm.

“If you’d like to be part of the festivities, be sure to come join us,” Marsh added. “You can come check out the train. We’ll have everything set up downtown. Restaurants will be open and have specials, and it’s just going to be a lot of fun.

“They enjoyed it so much the first time, they’re coming back a second time,” Marsh said.

The train made its first appearance in Greensburg in May.
