Lady Bulldogs finish 2nd at EIAC Championships, Break 4 school records, and Taylor Villani named EIAC MVP.
The Girls EIAC Championships came down to the final relay. For those in attendance, it was quite exciting watching the 4X100 freestyle relay. Three team were separated by just 3 points entering the final event. BHS overcame points from diving and pulling within 2 points of Greensburg before the final event. The Lady Bulldogs broke the school record by 5 seconds and became the first BHS female relay to ever break 4:00. In the end GHS was able to hold off BHS by just 1.5 seconds to capture the EIAC title. Taylor Villani was named EIAC MVP and she becomes the third BHS female to earn this honor (Emily Kelly ’11), (A. Cox ’11,’12,’13). For the girls, career or season best times were turned in on 19 of 27 swims (70%). On the boys side, career or season best times were turned in on 14 of 18 swims (78 ).

Batesville Girls are 23-4 on the season (14-2 non-conference, 9-2 EIAC)
Boys Team Scores. EC 105, CHS 93, GHS 67, SD 27, BHS 18, LHS 15, and RHS 5.
Batesville Boys are 8-14-1 on the season (4-8-1 non-conference, 4-6-EIAC)
EIAC CHAMPIONS: Girls (15th and 16th conference championship in girls school history). Taylor Villani 50 free & 100 free.
EIAC Runner Up ( 16th in school history). Mary Poltrack-500 free.
All EIAC (13th girls in school history). Taylor Villani * (MVP).
