(St. Leon, IN) – Eighth-grade students got to experience the everyday peaks and valleys of adult life at WRBI’s Reality Check at East Central Middle School on Tuesday.
They had to choose careers, budget, and deal with family situations among other things.
The program returned to area schools this year after the COVID-19 pandemic pause.
Students, educators, and volunteers say the experience provides a valuable lesson about the challenges faced by grown-ups.
