(St. Leon, IN) – Five East Central FFA members competed at the District 12 FFA Welding Career Development Event at Ivy Tech Community College in Madison on Saturday, December 2.
Clayton Bowling, Wyatt Smith, Lloyd Darringer, and Jacob Miller competed at the Advanced level, while Troy Randolph competed at the Beginner level.
The team of Bowling and Smith placed second while Darringer and Miller finished third.
Randolph competed as an individual and came in fifth.
The EC FFA members have advanced to the state competition on January 20.
