Dorothy Louise (Fulton) McIntosh-Holt, (age 77) passed away quietly on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at St Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. She was attended by her husband Bill, and several family members. Dottie Lou was born in Cincinnati on August 28, 1947. She began life on Front Street in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. From there she moved to Pribble Road, then to Greendale where she entered the first grade. She attended school in Greendale, Bear Branch, and Lawrenceburg before moving to Milan in 1959 at the age of 11. She lived in the Milan area throughout the remainder of her life. Dottie had three boys from her first marriage: Gerald, Richard Lee, and Daniel Jacob McIntosh. In 1995 she married Bill Holt of Milan who became the love of her life. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and working in the kitchen at several area schools and the Holt Family restaurant in Milan.
Dorothy was very outgoing and thoughtful. She never failed to remember sending a card or calling upon her family and friends during special occasions. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her husband Bill Holt of Milan; sons Gerald Lee of Brownsburg and Daniel Jacob McIntosh of Indianapolis; brother Jim Fulton of Greendale; grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Marie (Wilson) Fulton; sisters Jean Ascherman and Janet Kolbinski; and son Richard Lee McIntosh.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Dorothy from 9:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Hope Baptist Church: 15593 US-50, Dillsboro, IN 47018. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial will follow at Craven Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Dorothy to the donor’s choice.
