Donald W. Stall, of Sunman, was born on September 7, 1955, at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville, a son to Carl and Aliene Moore Stall. Donnie had a passion for fixing cars and owned his own auto body repair shop for many years. On May 15, 2010, he married the love of his life, Linda (Sissie) Mounts. When he wasn’t working on cars or chasing down a new (old) one, Donnie was often in the kitchen cooking and coming up with his own recipes after watching the cooking channel. He loved fishing, hunting, golf and helping Sissie with gardening and canning. Donnie loved watching vintage cartoons, his favorite was Popeye. On Friday, November 1, 2024, at the age of 69, he passed away at his residence.
He is survived by many loving family and friends, including his wife, Linda Stall; a son, Adam (Franny) Stall; three daughters, Jessica Stall, Jennifer Stall and Megan (Josh Wilson) Huffman; 6 grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter, and a sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Tim Oxley. Also surviving are his beloved dogs, T-Bone and Tazi. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. and burial will immediately follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Sunman.
