Diana “DiDi” Carpenter, 25, of Batesville passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. DiDi was born Wednesday, December 21, 1994 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the daughter of Edwina (Kennedy) and the late Ronald “Ron” Carpenter. She married Jade Dice and she survives. DiDi worked for Batesville Tool & Die as a welder. She enjoyed paintings; spending time with friends; and collecting rocks. She had the brightest spirit; and could make anyone smile if they were having a bad day.
DiDi is survived by her spouse Jade of Batesville; mother Edwina Carpenter of Dillsboro; brothers Ronald Carpenter of Sunman and Curtis Carpenter of Dillsboro; sisters Shannon Dietrich of Osgood, Pamela Hartman of Milan, and Julia Carpenter of Dillsboro; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Ronald “Ron” Carpenter and Grandpa Earl Kennedy.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 17, 2020 at Hope Baptist Church, 15593 US-50, Dillsboro, IN 47018, with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery in Aurora. Family and friends may gather to share and remember her 9 – 11 AM Friday also at the church.
