Decatur County

Decatur County Courthouse – Closed to public in-person interaction. The clerk’s office will have someone available to take your call during normal business hours. Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Franklin County

Franklin County Government Center and Courthouse – buildings to the public closed. The individual offices are responsible for maintaining the business of their office for the county. A drop box has been placed outside of the Government Center to leave paperwork or mail for government offices. Citizens are encouraged to conduct business via telephone or electronic means.

Ripley County

City of Batesville – At the Memorial Building, public access will be limited to just the vestibule where citizens can contact the police department. Access to the offices of Building Department, Clerk-Treasurer, City Court and Mayor’s Office will be closed to in-person visits until further notice. Contact any City department by phone. The City of Batesville will accept utility payments made online or by drop box which is located at the Water & Gas Department. For additional inquiries and for cash option please contact Water & Gas. No utility services will be disconnected for non-payments during the timeframe of these policy changes.

Ripley County Health Department–Closed to the public until further notice. Staff will continue to work regular business hours and can be reached by phone or email at 812.689.5751. Visit them online at ripleyhealth.com or on Facebook.

Ripley County Courthouse and Government Offices – Closed to the public. County elected officials and employees still working. Courts hearing essential cases only. Utilize email and phone communication to get ahold of all county offices. Utilize the drop boxes outside of the courthouse and annex buildings to leave any documentation needed for the offices.

Town of Osgood – Town Hall is closed for public access but will be available for essential business by still having staff available to answer calls and accept payments through the drive-thru, dropbox, and online
