GREENSBURG, Ind. – Decatur County officials were sworn in Monday. These officials were elected in November.
Circuit Court Judge Bailey initiated the official proceedings by administering the oath of office to Circuit Court Judge Tim Day, who ran unopposed in the November election.
Decatur County Treasurer Diane Hoeing Wenning was sworn into her second term, and she also ran unopposed in November.
Decatur County Commissioner for District 1 Brian Wenning and District 3 Gabriel Nobbe took the oath.
Decatur County Auditor Christy Smiley; Decatur County Councilors at-large Ernie Gauck, Bill Metz and Rick Nobbe; and Decatur County School Board members Elizabeth Hochstedler (District B) and Nicholas Andersen (District C) were also sworn in.
