NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The 3rd annual Leadership & Entrepreneurial Awards Day of Southern Indiana (LEADS) will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kye’s located in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
The event recognizes entrepreneurs and service providers in Southern Indiana. The keynote speaker is Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann.
As Lt. Governor, Ellspermann manages six state agencies including the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, the Office of Defense Development, the Office of Community and Rural Affairs, the Office of Tourism Development and the Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship. She also serves as President of the Indiana Senate and chairs the Indiana Counter Terrorism and Security Council.
Dearborn County is well represented today with three LEADS awards winners:
FranNet Franchisee of the Year – Linda Goepper, Liberty Tax Service (Dearborn County)
Family Owned Business of the Year – Batesville Products (Dearborn County)
Entrepreneurial Community Award – City of Lawrenceburg (Dearborn County)
