DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. — The Dearborn Community Foundation held its “Double Your Donation” endowment matching campaign yesterday.
The foundation had set aside $100,000 to match contributors $1-to $1.
The matching program began at 9 am yesterday and was over in less than 30 minutes.
Contributors made donations to more than 30 different endowment funds during the campaign.
The overall endowment at the Foundation grew by $200,000 when the new contributions are combined with the match.
