Versailles State Police post participates in Prescription Drug Take Back

VERSAILLES, Ind. — The Indiana State Police participated in the 13th nationwide “Prescription Drug Take-Back” initiative on Saturday.

The State Police set up collection sites at every post.

The Versailles Post collected 60 pounds of unused and unwanted medications.

Statewide the State Police collected a total of 1245 pounds of prescription drugs.

The take-back initiative seeks to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft.
