Thursday is shaping up to be a crowd-pleaser at the Dearborn County Fair, with a full lineup of 4-H competitions, family favorites, and hometown entertainment.
Things get rolling at 8 a.m. with the 4-H Pocket Pet Show in Agner Hall, followed by the 4-H Cat Show. At the same time, the 4-H Dairy Show begins in the Miss Ellie Show Arena, and the Decorated Rocks Morning Scavenger Hunt kicks off across the fairgrounds.
At 11 a.m., the Miss Ellie Show Arena hosts the Small Animal Supreme Showmanship Contest, where top young handlers showcase their skills.
The evening festivities begin at 5 p.m. with the always-entertaining Celebrity Showmanship contest in the Miss Ellie Show Arena and the return of the Decorated Rocks Evening Scavenger Hunt.
At 6 p.m., get ready to dance as square dancing steps into the spotlight.
Then at 6:30, the action revs up with the Power Wheels Demolition Derby, bringing big cheers from little drivers.
The night wraps up at 7 p.m. with the Supreme Showmanship Contest back in the Miss Ellie Show Arena and the kickoff of the Hillbilly Games—rounding out another fun-filled day at the fair.
