DCMH Welcomes Holiday Season

(Greensburg, IN) – Decatur County Memorial Hospital recently held its annual Holiday Lane celebration on the DCMH Walking Trail where over 500 community members braved the chilly temperatures to spread holiday cheer and celebrate together while they visited 22 stops along the stroll.

Attendees enjoyed seasonal activities, such as twinkling wands and lights, photos with Santa and reindeer, a horse-drawn sleigh, and a custom hot chocolate bar with a build-a-cookie experience.

Many DCMH departments joined in, including Cancer Care and Infusion Services, Cardiology, Cardiopulmonary, Dietary, Emergency Department, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Environmental Services, Family Medicine Practices, Hospital Foundation of Decatur County, Immediate Care Clinic, Laboratory, Maintenance, Marketing, Med/Surg, Outpatient Clinic, Pain Management, Rehabilitation Services, Senior Life Solutions, and Women’s Center.

Also, several community partners helped DCMH kick off the holiday season.

“We’ve hosted many uplifting community events this year and are grateful to spread holiday cheer through our Holiday Lane event,” said Rex McKinney, CEO/President. “It was moving to see so much joy on our campus. Our team is very appreciative of the support our community provides to DCMH.”

DCMH thanks each department, team member, community partner, and vendor who attended, hosted a booth, or helped make the event possible.
