David M. King, age 66, of Brookville, Indiana died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his home in Brookville following a lengthy illness.
Born November 9, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio he was the son of the late Charles & Zelma (Hall) King. On May 30, 1970 he and the former Deborah Banning were united in marriage, and she survives.
Dave was retired, having worked for many years as a plumber & heating and air conditioning contractor. He was a member of the Wilbur Dennison Post #2014 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Brookville. In his leisure time he enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, and being with his family.
Besides Deborah, his loving wife of over 47 years, survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Vickie & Rick Raible; a son, Tony (Jessica Yount) King; a brother & sister-in-law, Ronnie & Sharon King; a sister & brother-in-law, Dana & Kenny Offill; five grandchildren, Allison Raible, Ashlie Raible, and Wayne Yount.
Family & friends may visit from 4 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Ave., Brookville.
Pete Witt will officiate the Funeral Services on Saturday, September 16, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will then follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
