David K. Wendelman, age 51 of Greensburg, Indiana, died Monday, October 28, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenwood, Indiana. He is the son of Marie (Nee: Hill) and James E. Wendelman. He was married to his high school sweetheart Janice Kinker. David was a stay at home dad, who took care of their daughter Bailey. He loved teaching and playing with his daughter. He also was an avid sports fan with his favorite teams being the New York Yankees, San Francisco 49ers, and Philadelphia 76ers. He also enjoyed doing landscaping work.
He is survived by his wife Janice and daughter Bailey, both of Greensburg; father James Wendelman of Sunman, Indiana; sisters Lynda Koelling of Harrison, Ohio and Sandra Stenger of St. Leon, Indiana. David was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Wendelman.
David’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16th at the Weigel Funeral Home.
