Daryl W. Snyder, 69, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016.
He was born Wednesday, October 16, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana, son of the late Howard Snyder and the late Florence Waltman Snyder.
Daryl served his Country as a member of the United States Army. He worked as a Machinist for Beverly Industries, retiring after over 30 years of service.
Daryl enjoyed watching westerns, he collected coins, pocket watches and pocket knives. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Colts and Pacers. He also enjoyed watching NasCar. His favorite past time, was staying home and being with family.
Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Snyder and children, Glenda (James) Lacey of Aurora, IN, Glen (Diana Conrad) Snyder of Moores Hill, IN; Siblings, Howard (Beverly) Snyder of Dillsboro, IN, Allen Snyder, WI, Cheryl Graham of Indianapolis, IN, Charmi (Rick) Smith, Trina (Mike) Trumphy of Greenfield, IN, Dana Snyder of Fishers, IN; Grandchildren, Marissa Lacey, Jamie Lynn Lacey, Destiny Conrad, Andrew Conrad, Owen Snyder, Lexi Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends are invited from 11:00AM – 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home Aurora, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 2:00 pm, following visitation at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Tommy Beatley officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana. Military graveside services will be conducted by members of local Veterans Service Organizations.
