(Greensburg, IN) – Decatur Circuit Court Judge Timothy Day and Abby Harry with Decatur County Court Services appeared before Decatur County Commissioners this week with a request to distribute Justice Reinvestment Advisory Council, or JRAC, Opioid Funds.
Judge Day and Harry outlined how the county has taken a proactive approach in supporting people early in life to help prevent future drug-related issues.
The distribution proposal received the green light from commissioners.
In other action, Commissioner Jeremy Pasel said progress continues on the Fairgrounds Building project.
He says a fundraising campaign has brought in $460,000 in support of the project.
Pasel added they are waiting on stair fabrication. After that’s finished, he says the work should rapidly progress.
