Cody Charles Hamilton, 29, of Dillsboro passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Cody was born on Saturday, March 14, 1992 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana; son of Roy Charles “Chuck” and Shauna (Rullman) Hamilton II. Cody worked in construction for Baer Paving. Cody enjoyed being outdoors, he loved hunting, fishing, and hanging out by the creek. He was a Harry Potter fan and enjoyed listening to music, especially Blue Grass music. He loved spending time with his family and friends, but his greatest passion in life was spending time with his son.
Cody will be greatly missed by his girlfriend Jennifer Duncan of Cincinnati, Ohio; son Waylon Charles Hamilton of Cincinnati, Ohio; half-brother David Wade (Manuela) of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters Kami Hamilton (fiancé Travis Pennington) and Jessie Ritzmann (Miles) both of Dillsboro, Indiana; nephews Gage Bader and Brock Pennington; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cody is preceded in death by his parents, Chuck and Shauna, and his grandparents, RC and Marge Hamilton and Lloyd and Dana Rullman.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Cody from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Cody to the family.
