Greensburg, IN — The Decatur County Clerk’s Office will be closed to the public due to a shortage of staff today through November 13th. Staff members are currently being quarantined at this time and Clerk Adina Roberts stated they are monitoring all staff to know when to open back up. This is the second government office/building to close due to COVID-19 in the region. Last week North Vernon City Hall closed to quarantine. It is not known if staff members directly are affected or by association in either facility.
The Dearborn County Commissioners made the decision at its meeting last Wednesday to close the courthouse and make all access by appointment only to implement controlled access procedures at all Dearborn County government facilities in response to high COVID-19 numbers in the area.
