Clara C. Cook 90, of Milan passed away Tuesday June 20, 2017 at St. Andrews Health Care at Batesville. Clara was born Sunday May 22, 1927 in French Lick, IN the daughter of Samuel and Mae (Comstock) Dillard. She married Calvin E. Cook and he preceded her in death December 24, 1973. Clara was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her flowers and hummingbirds, reading, baking cookies for the grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Her survivors include son: Clayton Cook of Sunman, Mark (Doris) Cook of Sunman, Clyde Cook of Sunman, Jeff Cook of Milan; daughters: Rose (Jeff) Harris of Manchester, Anna (Kenneth) Lewis of Milan; sister: Marion Allison of Knightstown, IN. 16 Grandchildren; 27 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be Saturday 1 PM June 24, 2017 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan with Brother Lucas Hart officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Methodist Cemetery south of Sunman.
