(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting for Batesville Music Co. Wednesday.

The business owned by Joe and Amanda Kendall primarily offers threaded instrument sales, rental, and repair services.

“We stock guitars, mandolins, ukeleles,” Joe Kendall said. “We’re waiting on a banjo inventory. I actually had one banjo in here that I shipped out yesterday (Tuesday) that somebody bought.

“We buy, sell, trade, as well,” he added. “Anybody who’s looking to get rid of gear can bring it in and I’ll take a look at it.”

Kendall says they hope to hold events in the shop, including jam sessions, in the future.

The shop is located at 16 E. George Street in Batesville.

Store hours fluctuate between 9 am and 3 pm, and 10 am to 6 pm, so Kendall recommends contacting the shop through Facebook or Instagram for hours and other information.

They can also be reached at (812) 932-3606.
