Bright, Ind. – Gibson Cemetery will host a Memorial Day service at 12:15 p.m.
Dillsboro, Ind. – American Legion Northcutt-Laaker Post 292, Dillsboro will perform Memorial Day Services on Sunday, May 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Oakdale Cemetery in Dillsboro. The Dillsboro Veterans Walk will be on display at Oakdale Cemetery from the evening of Friday, May 24 through Tuesday, May 27 to show appreciation for 277 veterans from the community who served.
Farmers Retreat, Ind. – American Legion Northcutt-Laaker Post 292, Dillsboro will perform Memorial Day Services on Sunday, May 26 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John Cemetery in Farmers Retreat. For more information, please contact the Legion Post at (812) 432-9200.
Hidden Valley, Ind. – A Memorial Day Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the HVL Veterans Memorial across from Willie’s Sports Cafe. A parade will start immediately after the service (approx. 11:00 a.m.). All motorcycles, golf carts and other road legal vehicles are welcome to participate.

Aurora, Ind. – A Memorial Day Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery.
Batesville, Ind. – The Batesville Veterans War Post 3183 will host their annual Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 27. Several short services will be held at area cemeteries throughout the morning hours: Holy Family Catholic Church (8:00 a.m.); St. Anthony Catholic Church (8:30); St. Mark Lutheran Church (9:00); St. John’s United Church of Christ (9:30); St. Louis Catholic and Batesville United Methodist Church (10:00). Liberty Park Pavilion will also host a service at 11:00 a.m.
Brookville, Ind. – The Brookville American Legion will honor fallen heroes with a parade and service on Monday, May 27. The parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. at St. Michael Cemetery, proceeding to Maple Grove Cemetery, where a short service will be held.
Greendale/Lawrenceburg, Ind. – Area residents are invited to attend a Memorial Day Parade in downtown Lawrenceburg on Monday, May 27 at 10:00 a.m. The parade will travel east on High Street to Walnut Street then continue to St. Lawrence Church. A ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Soldiers Circle at the Greendale Cemetery, where Judge James D. Humphrey will be the guest speaker. After the ceremony, all are invited to an open house at American Legion Post 239, 201 2nd Street in Lawrenceburg, for refreshments.
Harrison, Oh. – A parade will take place at 10:00 a.m. beginning at Harrison Elementary School. A short service will immediately follow at Glen Haven Cemetery. U.S. Navy Veteran Chrissy Heim is the scheduled guest speaker.
Rising Sun, Ind. – A Memorial Day parade and ceremony will be held on Monday, May 27. The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Mill Lot on Poplar Street and will finish at the Ohio County Courthouse. A short service will follow the parade at the courthouse at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be available immediately following the ceremony at the Rising Sun Legion.
