Cathy R. Wood-Morgan, 71, of Greensburg, passed away on April 4, 2024. She was born on April 1, 1953 in Rushville, Indiana, the daughter of Harold and Pauline (Smiley) O’Dell. Cathy was a 1971 graduate of Rushville High School. She married David Wood and he preceded her in death in 2002. She married Ricky Morgan on February 14, 2005. Cathy worked at Harrison Building and Loan in Harrison, Ohio and retired in 2017.
Survivors include: Husband, Ric Morgan; Daughter, Christy (Michael) Poe; Grandchildren, Jordan (James) Hopping and David Oakley; Great Grandsons, Thomas Hopping and Zaidyn Oakley; Sister, Carolyn (LeRoy) Messer; Brother, and David (Elizabeth) O’Dell. She was preceded in death by her Parents.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm. Pastor Darrell Thayer will be officiating. A private burial will be at the East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Decatur County Animal Shelter.
