(Batesville, IN) – Batesville Intermediate School Principal Dana Cassidy has been named Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) District 10 Elementary School Principal of the Year.
District 10 is made up of Ripley, Franklin, Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Hancock, Jennings, Rush, Shelby, and Union counties in Southeastern Indiana.
IASP will recognize Cassidy on Sunday, November 24, at the annual Principals of the Year Recognition Celebration. The award celebration will be held that evening at 6 p.m. at the Indianapolis JW Marriott Hotel.
Cassidy is one of 12 District Elementary School Principals of the Year elected by their peers.
One of these 12 District Elementary School Principal winners will be chosen as the State Elementary School Principal of the Year, which will be announced at the award celebration in November.
