Cary Wallace Eichel, 79, of Brooksville, Florida, formerly Aurora, IN, passed away Friday December 4, 2020 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
He was born July 11, 1941 in Milan, IN, son of the late Wallace Canfield Eichel and Frances Fern (Johnson) Eichel. Cary graduated from Aurora High School in 1959. He taught at Hernando County School System, Pinellas County School System, and Sumter Correctional Center for prison in the vocational program, retiring after several years of service.
He was a 50 year member of the Aurora Masonic Lodge, a member of the Heating and Air Conditioning Assn., Moores Hill American Legion. Cary attended the Dillsboro United Methodist Church. He enjoyed working and had great work ethics. He was very mechanical and loved to help on the farm. He loved to help people and would offer to help, whenever he had the opportunity. Cary also loved to travel. He and Pam traveled to Europe on several occasions.
Cary is survived by his loving spouse of 47 years Pamela (Stegemiller) Eichel , and son, Matthew Wallace Eichel of Brooksville, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Frances Eichel.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
