Carolyn Jane Scheele, passed on July 25th, 2025, at her home in Batesville, Indiana. Born to Herbert and Mabel (nee Bohlke) Bosse. Carolyn married James “Doc” Scheele on October 10, 1970, at St. Paul Lutheran Crossroads in Batesville, Indiana.
Carolyn is survived by her brothers Wally Bosse of Wabash, IN, and Dale Bosse of Batesville; sisters-in-law Julie (George) Litzinger of Hamburg, IN, and Marilyn Scheele of Greenwood, IN; brothers-in-law Paul Scheele of New Bern, NC, and Wilfred Scheele of Oldenburg; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James “Doc” Scheele, brother-in-law Jerry Scheele, sisters-in-law Pat Bosse, Margaret Scheele and Vicky Scheele.
Visitation is Wednesday, July 30th, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at Weigel Funeral Home, with a funeral service to immediately follow, at the funeral home, with Laura Nicholson, SAM officiating.
