The St. Louis golf team participated Monday night in a 4-way match against Batesville Middle School, Shelbyville, and Madison schools. There were enough players that a varsity match and a junior varsity were played. For the varsity match, Madison came out on top with a score of 231, followed by BMS with 237, Shelbyville with 256 and St Louis with 295.
Scoring for the Cardinals were Jackson Wanstrath, Cody Mohr, Eli Vogelsang, Lucas Anderson, and Abe Streator. The junior varsity match was between St Louis, BMS, and Shelbyville with BMS finishing on top with a 161, Shelbyville 182, and St Louis with a 203. Scoring for St Louis included Rhea Miller, Catherine Streator, and Steven Kestler.
The team’s next match is Monday at Dearborn Country Club.
