Junior high Pirates 63-25 Tuesday evening.
Thomas Raver was leading scorer for the Cardinals followed by Abe Streator, CJ Grote, Cody Mohr and a Ryan Reder. St. Louis was able to put in a great 1st quarter matching the starters for Greensburg but the shots started raining in for the home team and the deficit was too great to overcome midway through the second half.

The St. Louis Cardinals 8th grade team travelled to Greensburg Tuesday to play the host Greensburg Pirates 48-32.
The Cardinals came off the long holiday break ready to play as they scored 18 points in the first quarter to take a 18-7 lead. They extended the lead in the second quarter and took a 31-18 lead going into the lock room. After the break, St Louis came out of the lock room playing some good defense as they held Greensburg to only 3 points in the 3rd quarter and then went on to win by the final score of 48-32.
Overall the Cardinals showed good ball movement on offense which allowed them to get some easy buckets and played a very stifling defense for the entire game.
The scoring for St. Louis consisted of Kurt Siefert with 3, Riley Schebler 6, Jack Forbeck 3, Andrew Oesterling 12, Lleyton Ratcliffe 15, Wil Freeland 4, Karen Macke 1, and Sam Voegele had 4. Defensively Voegele led both teams in rebounds and had good defensive support from Tyler Kuntz and Jacob Wuestefeld.
