Cardinals Hoops Results

The SLS 7th Grade Boys Basketball team opened their season against Franklin County on Tuesday, November 5th.  The boys played a hard-fought game but ended up losing 27-18. 

The Cardinals were led in scoring by Henry Wanstrath with 6 points, followed by Adam Meer and Sam Laloge with 4 points, and Ryan Duerstock and Max Amberger with 2 points each.  Duerstock led the team in rebounds with 6 while Amberger and Laloge each had 5.  Wanstrath, Meer, Laloge, and Duerstock each recorded a steal as well. 

The boys are back in action on Thursday, November 7th when they take on Jac-Cen-Del at home.

The St. Louis Cardinals 5th/6th-grade boys hosted their first games of the season on Tuesday, November 5th. The 6th-grade boys came up short with a final score of 53-28. 

Scoring for SLS were Jaiden Kuria with 12pts, Caleb Mohr with 8pts, Aiden Griewe with 4pts, and both Ben Griewe and Jack Freeland getting us 2pts each.  Defensively Tyler Reder had a great game, and Jaiden Kuria had 2 great blocks.  The boys really did well for their first game and grew as the game progressed. 

We play again on Thursday at St. Mary’s Greensburg.
