BROOKVILLE, IN — Franklin County Clerk Neysa Raible has announced that Wednesday, July 27 is the first day people may file a petition of nomination and consent to run for school board in the General Election this fall.
School board races in the Franklin County, Batesville, and Union County/College Corner school corporations will be on the ballot this fall.
These include the following:
- Franklin County Community School Corporation – District 5 and three at-large members.
- Batesville Community School Corporation – District 1 (one member), District 2 (one member), and District 4 (one member). Candidates will file in Ripley County.
- Union County/College Corner – Bath Township (one member), Brownsville Township (one member), Liberty Township (one member), and Union Township (one member). Candidates will file in Union County.
The deadline to file is at Noon on Friday, August 26.
Packets are now available at the Clerk’s Office in Room 104 at the Franklin County Courthouse.
