Calvin E. “Butch” Mann, 66, Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his residence. Born, February 27, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana, he was the son of Jack Norman and Vera Alene (Poindexter) Mann. Butch graduated in 1969 from Greensburg High School. He served in the Air Force Reserves. He retired from Cummins in 2016 after 47 years of service. He farmed and was a partner with his son in the Mann Trucking Co. He was married to Donna J. Kohrman on June 25, 1980 and she survives. He is also survived by one son, Jonathan (Stacey) Mann, Greensburg; two sisters, Camilla Sue Oathout, Greensburg, Lillian June (Buddy) Ryle, Greensburg; three step grandchildren, Brock, Brooklyn, and Austin Adams; his loving dog, Sammy. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jerry Lee Mann, Joseph Mann; one sister, Mary Lou Karmon. Family and friends will gather at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home for a rosary service. Visitation will follow until 6:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. The family will also receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to any of the Decatur County FFA’s.
