(New Point, IN) – Decatur County REMC customers in the New Point area were in the dark for a while Sunday evening.
A bulldozer came off a trailer on County Road 400 South and became entangled in power lines (pictured).
Full and partial outages were reported throughout the New Point substation service area.
Crews restored service to affected customers a few hours after the initial call came in.
