The Batesville Bulldogs traveled to Osgood to face the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles winning 1-0. The first half started out as expected with a high level of defense from the Eagles. The Bulldogs dominated in possession throughout the half, but struggled to break through the defense. Batesville had an opportunity to open up the scoring with a Penalty Kick, but it was sent high. The first half ended 0-0 and then the second started back up with a more aggressive formation. Batesville continued to possess the ball and they found a several goal scoring opportunities, until finally Michael Ripperger got the ball, dribbled past his defender in midfield and ripped a long low shot into the net. We finished the half and defended well, winning the game 1-0.
