The Batesville Seventh Grade Boys Basketball team won an exciting game Tuesday night over North Decatur by a score of 39 to 37.
After giving up a 12 point half time lead and being down late in the fourth quarter, they fought back to pull off the win. Leading in scoring for Batesville were Eli Pierson and Cole Werner with 11 each. Also scoring were Travis Lecher with 6, Zack Wade with 4, Ean Loichinger with 3 and Frank Moorman and Ian Powers with 2 each. Frank Moorman and Ean Loichinger also did a great job rebounding with 5 and 8 respectively.
The 7th grade dogs are now 4 and 2 on the season.
The 8th Grade Batesville Middle School Basketball team won Tuesday night against the North Decatur Chargers by a score of 39 to 25.
Leading is scoring for the Bulldogs was R.J. Powell with 13 points. Also scoring for the Dogs were Mason Barker, Alex Siefert, and Trey Peters with 6 each. Austin Cornn added 3, Calvin Sherwood and Kaveen Saravannan each added two and Ethan Brewer rounded out the scoring by adding 1.
The 8th grade dogs are now 4 and 2 on the season.

The freshman boys basketball team followed up last nights win with another victory against South Dearborn, 33-25.
1st qtr: 4-7. 2nd qtr: 18 -12. 3rd qtr: 30-21. 4th qtr: 33-25.
It was a close game as SD got out to an early lead, but the Bulldogs fought back and took the lead in the 2nd quarter and never looked back. Charlie Dice led the team with 10 points, and Seth Gausman was just behind him with 9.
