The Batesville Boys Cross Country Team Traveled to Rushville to compete Saturday. They competed against 20 teams in their division and came away with the third spot.
Finishing first for Batesville was Caleb Moster. He set a personal record with a time of 17:35. Not only did he finish first for his team, he won the overall. Coming in second for Batesville and sixth overall and also setting a personal record was Conner Bell, with a time of 18:01. Third for Batesville and fifteenth overall was Cole Nuhring, with a time of 18:22. Scoring fourth for Batesville and coming in 38th overall was Clay Yeaton, his time of 19:04 was also a personal record. Rounding out the scoring for Batesville was Elliot Main, who come in with a time of 19:45, which was 59th overall. Also running for Batesville’s boys were Chris Riffle, with a time of 20:21 and Garrett Yorn with a time of 21:08.
Batesville came away with 121 points, which followed Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, the second place team with 102. The winning team was South Dearborn, who scored 80.

They will be competing again this Thursday at South Ripley for the County Tourney.
