In their 3rd game in 3 days, Greensburg traveled to Batesville and fell to the Bulldogs 6-0.
Greensburg played a relatively mistake-free first half, defensively, but a very talented Batesville team was able to capitalize and score 2 goals, making it 2-0 at halftime.
The second half saw the fatigue set in for the Pirates as they gave up 4 second half goals. Greensburg only saw shots from sophomores Luke Hellmich and Grayson Newhart as Batesville’s stout defense held Greensburg scoreless for the first time in conference play.
The loss moves Greensburg to 2-7-1 and 1-2 in the conference.
