The Batesville Girls Varsity Tennis team defeated Milan 5-0 on Tuesday. Singles winners were Rachael Rose, Audrey Weigel, and Sophie Brown. The doubles teams of Baylee Rohlfing/Corinne Stone and Jenna Ertel/Betsy Harmeyer were also winners.
In JV, Batesville won 4-1. Kate Poltrack won in singles while the doubles teams of Kayla Stone/Carlie Fitzpatrick, Caroline Kellerman/Lilly Esser, and Kayla Meyer/Vivian Shroder picked up wins.
Batesville will play at Columbus East on Thursday.

The Lady Indians paid a visit to neighboring Batesville High School Tuesday in hopes of knocking off an area powerhouse. After battling the Bulldogs in valiant fashion, Batesville emerged victorious (5-0).
Outstanding performances included Senior Abby Reihle and Freshman Delaney Bushhorn and Maitri Patel, making their Varsity debut as a pairing in Doubles, with both playing well beyond their years representing the promising future of the Milan program.
