Brookville parking ordinance kicks in May 9, vouchers canceled

Brookville, In. — Our news gathering partners at the Franklin County Observer have confirmed the new parking ordinance will go into effect on Wednesday, May 9.

The fine for a basic violation is $20, if paid within 10 days it can be reduced to $10, if not paid in 30 days it will double to $40. Fines can be mailed or paid in person at the administration building.

Disputes can be made using the online with the clerk/treasurer or in writing.

The town council has canceled a proposed parking voucher program. 

A copy of the ordinance is available for public viewing at the administration building.
