Bridget L. Proffitt, age 55, of Brookville, Indiana died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.
Born June 27, 1962 in Hamilton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Edward Proffitt & Jeanette Haynes.
Bridget was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brookville. She had worked as a waitress at Skyline in Harrison, Ohio. In her leisure time she enjoyed reading, making crafts and playing bingo.
Survivors include two daughters, Angela (William) Suding and Chelsea Proffitt of Brookville, Indiana; two granddaughters, Georgia & Scarlett; her step-father, William (Carol) Haynes of Hamilton, Ohio; siblings, Elizabeth Haynes of Hamilton, Ohio, Beverly (Alonzo) Mangubat of Hamilton, Ohio and Darrel Haynes of Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Diane Proffitt Wargo, and an uncle, Burnell Foister.

Rev. Mike Holman, pastor of First Baptist Church of Brookville, will officiate the Funeral Services on Thursday, April 19, 2018, 12:00 Noon, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will then follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
