(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Police Department is partnering with Ripley County Communications in launching a Special Needs Registry.
It’s designed to help first responders provide the best possible care to people with special needs during emergencies.
The voluntary program allows parents, guardians and caregivers to share important information about those with special needs within the Batesville city limits.
The information will remain confidential and will only be accessible to 911 dispatch centers, law enforcement, fire and EMS.
