(Franklin County, IN) – Several neighborhoods in eastern Franklin County are under a Boil Water Advisory until further notice.
Residents of Snow Hill, Heinzelman, Snow Mountain, Lake and Calihan roads are under the advisory because of a water main break.
A Boil Advisory is a precautionary measure issued by a water utility to alert customers when there is a potential for compromised water quality.
It is recommended that you boil all water used in the preparation of food and beverages for consumption for two minutes.
Water used for laundry, showering, shaving, and watering grass or plants is safe to use without boiling.
