Bobby “Bob” R. Billiter, 81, of Aurora passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at The Waters of Rising Sun with his loving family by his side. Bob was born on Wednesday, January 7, 1942 in Pike County, Kentucky; son of James and Lizzie (May) Billiter. Bob married the love of his life, Patricia (Knebel) Billiter, on December 17, 1999 and she survives. Bob worked at Baxter Medical Supply where he tested medical equipment. He was a member of the Sparta Baptist Church. Bob was also awarded the Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and spending time in Florida each winter. Bob also enjoyed gardening, playing cards, cooking, and listening to bluegrass music.
Bob will be missed by his wife, Patricia Billiter of Aurora; stepson Rick Kurelie of St. Leon; daughter Sarah (Karl) Roth of Miamisburg, Ohio; grandchildren Cody (Krystal) Kurelie and Rachel (Shawn) Abplanalp; as well as several great-grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents James and Lizzie Billiter; brother Joseph Billiter; and sisters Eileen, Margaret, and Bonnie.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Bob from 9:00-11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rick Burcham officiating. Burial will take place in Hogan Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Bob to Wounded Warriors or Disabled Veterans.
