Betty Williams – West Harrison

Betty Jo Williams, of West Harrison, was born on August 5, 1943 in Cincinnati, a daughter to Eli and Martha Allen Taylor.  She married Charles Williams on August 19, 1961 and he survives.  Betty was a homemaker and also worked at Sperry Rubber.  She was a member of Chappelow Ridge Baptist Church and loved shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.  On Monday, July 20, 2020 at the age of 76, she passed away at St. Andrews Health in Batesville.

 

Those surviving who will cherish Betty’s memory include her husband of nearly 59 years, Charles Williams; one daughter, Kara (Randy) Wyckoff of Brookville; three grandchildren, Tristin Ashley, Dane Ashley and Savannah Wyckoff; three siblings, Nancy (Tom) Bachman of West Harrison, Phyllis (Floyd) Bennett of West Harrison, and Phillip (Deanne) Taylor of Dayton, OH, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Edwards and two great-nephews.

 

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
