Batesville, IN — On Monday, November 16, the Beta Sigma Phi sorority ladies had their annual raffle ticket drawing. This event was much different from past years, due to the pandemic, since the Holiday Bazaar had to be canceled. However, the raffle drawing continued with 50 prizes, and the drawing was held in a private home this year. This annual raffle drawing helps this service organization to raise money for them to give back to many charities locally and nationwide.
This year’s big $500 cash prize winner was Bertie Schmidt of Batesville. The Beta Sigma Phi sorority wishes to thank all of those businesses who donated the prizes, as well as to those who supported this cause by purchasing the raffle tickets.
