BATESVILLE, IN — This reminder that the Batesville Planning Commission is expected to review and vote on updated land use ordinances, zoning code maps, and building and development codes during a public meeting tomorrow night (Thursday, July 21) at 6 pm in the Batesville Middle School Commons.
The Planning Commission’s recommendation would then be forwarded to City Council for a vote at its August 8 meeting.
The new updated manual and zoning map can be viewed on the city’s website batesvilleindiana.us.
Look for “Batesville Development Code,” which is about halfway down the right side of the home page.
Underneath “Batesville Development Code” are two links – one that says “Updated Code Book” and a second link that says “Zoning Map.”
Those who want to review the documents are urged to visit the city’s website. The download is large and requires additional time. However, documents can also be viewed in the city’s Building Department.
